リアルタイム地震情報による防災－企業における活用に関する考察－
地震の震源や震度に関する情報を主要動が到達する前に知らせる「ナウキャスト地震情報」の開発が進められ、実用化に向けた取り組みが行われている。この地震情報を活用することによって、大地震発生時には、これまでの防災対策に加え、今まででは不可能であった新たな防災への道が開かれることとなった。
本報では、主として企業における地震防災の観点から、ナウキャスト地震情報の活用法について具体的な検討例や実用化試験を紹介する。また、この地震情報を活用する際の要点や課題について考える。
Disaster Mitigation Using Real Time Earthquake Information- A Study of Practical Applications in Private Enterprise -
Currently under development, the Nowcast Earthquake Information System will be able to provide information about the hypocenters or seismic intensities of big earthquakes before the main shocks arrive. Practical uses for this information are now developed. The information can mitigate the loss of human life and the damage to facilities when a big earthquake occurs.
Through the concrete examples and tests, this paper describes the practical uses of this information, mainly from the viewpoint of earthquake disaster mitigation in private enterprises. The points and the subjects of the practical use of this information are also discussed.
