埋土種子を用いた法面緑化工法の開発(その１)─埋土種子から得られた植生とその特徴─
環境影響評価法の施行に伴い、今後は緑化においても生物多様性の確保及び自然環境の体系的保全を図ることが必要となってくる。それを実現する方法として表土中の埋土種子を用いた緑化工法の開発を行っている。今回、埋土種子ポテンシャルの樹林別による違い、埋土種子をより効果的に活用するために施肥、保湿処理、撒き出し厚さの効果について、また発芽した木本種の生残と成長及び成立した植生の生態系における意義について検討を行った。その結果、埋土種子を用いることで法面でも多様性に富んだ植生を早期に復元できることが分かった。
Revegetation Technology for Man-made Slopes using Buried Seeds(Part 1)─Experimental assessments of vegetation grown from buried seeds─
The object of this study is to develop a revegetation technology for man-made slopes using seeds buried in the surface soil. Experimental assessments of vegetation grown from buried seeds were carried out. Soil samples collected from five types of forest were scattered on slopes and were subjected to several treatments such as adding fertilizer etc. The germination and growth of many herbaceous and arboreous plants suggested that using buried seeds was very useful as a method of restoring ecologically diversified vegetation.
